To view or download models:
Under Registered Users, type a value for Email or Username.
Type a value for Password, then click Sign in.
Select Remember
My Sign-In to populate the Email
or Username field the next time you log in.
If you are not registered, click Register Here to fill in and submit the form. Registration is free.
3D ContentCentral is an online CAD resource that allows you to:
Search, view, and download catalog items
Upload designs for use by other users
Download designs from other users
The left panel includes the Supplier Certified and User Library browser tabs. Click either tab to display a tree structure with categories and subcategories where the models reside. You can either:
Search by category through supplier catalogs and designs that users have uploaded.
Display all available models or restrict the list to models contributed within the last 30 days.
The right panel of the window provides the Navigation bar and the Catalog Display Area. In the Catalog Display Area, you can view the supplier's catalog or the selected model category.
You can hide the left panel to provide a larger viewing area.
To hide or display the left panel:
Click to hide the list and display
only the right panel.
Click to show the list and display
both panels.
Home. Click to return to the Supplier Certified page.
My Profile. View and edit your profile, including password updates.
Share a Model. Submit a model to the User Library catalog.
About. View information about 3D ContentCentral.
Help. Click to view help topics.
This screen allows you to enter and change profile information, including updating passwords.
Click My Profile on the Navigation bar
You can add and edit information for the following:
*First Name
*Last Name
New Password. Type your new password.
Re-type New Password. Confirm your new password.
If you have changed employers, you should
create a new account.
Title
*Street Address 1:
Street Address 2:
Street Address 3:
*City
*State/Province
*Postal Code
*Country
*Phone
*Which CAD program do you use:
Allow users to contact me by email about models I contribute to the User Library:
If you select this option, users can contact you regarding the models you contribute to the User Library.
Click Submit to submit changes or click Clear Screen to start over.
You can submit a model to the User Library browser tab so that other 3D ContentCentral users can view and download your design.
Click Share a Model on the Navigation bar
There are three steps to this process:
Accept terms of agreement or Do Not Accept terms of agreement.
If you click Do Not Accept, this
exits you from the upload process.
Input the model information:
This information controls the sorting in the User Library catalog tree.
Category. Click the category under which to list the model.
Sub-category. Click to further categorize the model.
Select to publish your name and company information with the model.
Title. Type a title for the model.
Description. Type a description of the model.
Vendor Name. If you used a vendor's catalog as the basis of your model, type the vendor name, and if applicable, catalog number.
Part Number. If you used a vendor's catalog as the basis of your model, type the part number from the catalog.
Vendor Name and Part
Number are optional.
Model Type. Click the type of file that you are submitting. The model must be in 3D file format. See the following table for more information about which file type to save as and submit for your CAD system:

File. Type or browse to the model file.
Click Back to view the authorization statement or click Next to continue.
Once the file is uploaded, a message appears if the transfer was successful. If successful, the file is reviewed and then posted in the User Library.
Select Click here to close this window to close the window.
You can view 3D or 2D models or download models in your selected format.
In the Catalog Display Area, click last 30 days if you want to restrict the selection to models contributed within the last 30 days.
On the User Library tab, select a category and subcategory.
The models appear in the Catalog Display Area.
Click the image of the model you want to view or download.
The model information and a preview of the model appear in the Catalog Display Area. The information for each models includes:
Contributor, title, and company
Description
Number of downloads
You can rotate, pan, or zoom
the image using mouse buttons.
If available, under Sizing Options, select a size and click Display.
Click Download.
Click the file format and, if applicable, the version you required.
Click Go.
A confirmation of file format and version appears with a link to continue the download.
If you download the model in SolidWorks
format, you can drag the link into an open session of SolidWorks, or you
can click the link to download the file.
Click link to complete download.
